"No End in Sight" examines the manner in which the principal errors of U.S. policy the use of insufficient troop levels, allowing the looting of Baghdad, the purging of professionals from the Iraqi government, and the disbanding of the Iraqi military largely created the insurgency and chaos that engulf Iraq today.

(cz) Na Oscara nominovaný snímek Charlese Fergusona dokumentuje okolnosti, které vedly k americké invazi do Iráku v březnu 2003 a které provázely zejména první dva roky tohoto vleklého konfliktu. Kriticky pohlíží na chyby, které udělala Bushova administrativa, na lži a polopravdy, které vypouštěla do světa. Ačkoliv nezískal Ferguson z pochopitelných důvodů vyjádření nejvýše postavených aktérů – tedy George Bushe, Colina Powella či Donalda Rumsfelda, skládá velmi pestrou mozaiku výpovědí dalších vysoce postavených úředníků, iráckých civilistů, amerických vojáků, novinářů a analytiků. Ti všichni mají s odstupem několika měsíců či let od popisovaných událostí velmi kritický pohled na americkou účast v konfliktu. Kromě Oscarové nominace získal film Konec v nedohlednu řadu ocenění, např. Zvláštní cenu poroty v Sundance.
